Rural Oriented Youth Movement Nepal (ROYM Nepal) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2009 with the aim of reducing poverty through skill transformation and youth engagement to achieve national development goals. ROYM Nepal supports the country in achieving long-term sustainable development goals related to poverty, hunger, health, education, climate change, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, urbanization, environment, and social justice.
ROYM Nepal had worked for the early relief and recovery of the 2015 mega-earthquake victims. The organization collected and distributed emergency food supplies, conducted mobile medical camps, provided drinking water support, and established shelter and temporary learning centers for earthquake victims. Additionally, the organization offered psychological counseling and stress management support to earthquake victims in different affected districts. ROYM Nepal has been actively working in the areas of Disaster Risk Management.
