Empowering Women Farmers: Successful Bio-Pesticide Production Workshop in Katunje

On September 12, 2024, a one-day orientation on the process of making bio-pesticides for the 21 members of the women’s farmers group successfully took place in Katunje, Netrawati Dabjong Rural Municipality-5, Dhading. Additionally, the required materials to prepare the biopesticides were distributed to each member of the women’s farmers group. This program was successfully held under the JIBIKA project operated by ROYM Nepal in partnership with the Economic Cooperation of AEIN Luxembourg. We conducted this program to empower women farmers with sustainable agricultural practices, enhance their knowledge and skills in biopesticide production, and promote eco-friendly farming methods.
